Heather & Zach planned their beautifully curated, elopement in less than 7 weeks; and honestly, it was perfect!
Heather got ready for her BIG day at a beach-front condo on Isle of Palms, surrounded by her parents, sister, and Charleston best friends. The day started a little gloomy with lots of clouds in the sky, but as soon as Heather was dressed and ready, it seemed as if the weather shifted. The sky opened up and there was not a cloud in sight.
Heather and Zach got married under a beautiful Live Oak Tree in Hampton Park, located in Downtown Charleston. The attendees only included their parents, siblings, grandparents, niece, and a few local friends, who had helped plan their special day. They streamed their ceremony for other relatives and friends to watch.
After the ceremony, the two took some gorgeous portraits with their families and just the two of them around the Park. During the couples portraits, I asked Zach "What song reminds you of Heather?" His response was "trap music", if you know Heather, they should not come as a surprise. He then requested "Don't Take the Girl" by Tim McGraw; and they had their first dance as husband and wife under the Spanish Moss.
After all the portraits, they headed to the Grand Bohemian Hotel, on the other side of Downtown Charleston, for a cocktail hour and dinner. The two enjoyed a beautiful dinner surrounded by their families, and even have a dance party between courses. It was definitely a day/night to remember.
